Below are the services that are offered at our Lake Mary Branch:
- Driver License Issuance. (no road test)
- Renewal of a Florida driver license or ID card.
The person must present the following: original /certified copy of an original US birth certificate or current US passport, and a Social Security card. - Transfer of an out-of-state driver license to Florida.
The person must provide their original/certified copy of an original US birth certificate and chain of original or certified documents to link to current name (i.e. marriage license, divorce decree, death certificate) or current US passport, Social Security card and out-of-state license. - Transfer of an out of state CDL driver license to Florida.
The person must provide their valid out-of-state CDL license and a Social Security card, plus either a original/certified copy of an original US birth certificate and chain of original or certified documents to link to current name (i.e. marriage license, divorce decree, death certificate) or current US passport.
An original CDL with HAZMAT or School Bus endorsement must be processed at a full-service state driver license office.
HAZMAT endorsements have Federal requirements for finger printing, a background check, and legal presence verification (applicants must be a US Immigrant or a US Citizen).
School Bus endorsements may require additional testing we do not provide. - Address Change - All customers are required to provide two proofs of residential address at the time of issuance. This applies to all transactions, original, renewal, and replacements.
- Renewal/Address Change on a CDL license with no HAZMAT.
- Lost/Stolen Florida DL/ID card, provided their digital picture image is on the state driver license computer file.
- D6 Clearances/Financial Responsibility Stops (proof of insurance) for:
- Failed to pay traffic citation
- Failed to appear for a traffic summons
- Started, but failed to complete court ordered school
- Chose school election when not eligible
- Made school election, but failed to attend
- Child Support stop clearance.
- Issuance of an original Florida ID Card. The person must provide their original/certified copy of an original US birth certificate and chain of original or certified documents to link to current name (i.e. marriage license, divorce decree, death certificate) or current US passport, and a Social Security card.
- Name change on Florida driver license/ID card, provided the person has the following in their possession:
- Original license / ID card, or if lost, their digital picture image must be on the state driver license computer file.
- Original or certified copy (certified by the Clerk of Court) of legal name change documentation (the documentation will be returned to the customer), such as marriage license or court order.
- Addition of a Motorcycle Endorsement to a Florida license (class E or higher), provided the person has the following in their possession:
- Original DL, or if lost, their digital picture image must be on the state driver license computer file.
- Original certificate of completion from an approved Motorcycle Safety Course.
- Transfer of an out-of-country license to Florida from any US territory, Canada or France. The person must provide their original out-of-country license, original/certified copy of the original US birth certificate or current US passport, and a Social Security card.

The Seminole County Tax Collector Lake Mary Branch office provides limited Driver Licensing services aalong with vehicle registration, tag and title services. As separate licensing agency, we must charge a $6.25 convenience fee for the driver license services.
